Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital is the organizing host of the Opportunities in Equine Practice Seminar (OEPS). OEPS is an annual seminar for North American Veterinary Students designed to promote equine practice as a viable and rewarding career option.
This effort is strongly supported by the American Association of Equine Practitioners, over 90 equine practices and private practitioners and industry partners. This team effort has made OEPS one of the largest veterinary student conferences by attendance and has steadily increased interest in equine veterinary careers since its inception in 2003.
