Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital is the proud sponsor of the Rood & Riddle Kentucky Grand Prix, a premiere show jumping competition held annually at the Kentucky Horse Park. The $30,000 Kentucky Grand Prix is a premier show-jumping competition which has been conducted for 24 years. Top-level show jumpers are guaranteed to impress and thrill the crowd as they fly over thirteen 5-foot fences. In addition to showcasing top horses and riders at the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park, the Grand Prix raises money for The Hope Center and the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation.

| Our Beneficiaries
The Hope Center is a non-profit agency in Lexington, Kentucky, that provides services to the homeless, including the immediate needs of food, shelter and clothing and the longer-term needs of detox and substance abuse recovery, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness, health clinic services, employment counseling, life skills, housing support and transitional housing.
Since its inception in 1985, the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation has followed its mission to “expand and enhance the Kentucky Horse Park.” The Foundation has provided funding for many of the park’s facilities, such as show rings and barns for equine competitions, new horses, tack and carriages, safety equipment, costuming, educational programs, landscaping projects, signage, sound systems, special research projects, and special exhibits at the International Museum of the Horse.
