Dr. Ruggles to appear on RFD-TV’s “Newborn to Maturity: Caring for the Growing Horse”

Rood & Riddle surgeon, Alan Ruggles, DVM, Dipl. ACVS, will serve on the panel of experts for "Newborn to Maturity: Caring for the Growing Horse” airing on RFD-TV, March 26, 8:00pm, ET. The live call-in show will cover healthcare as well as potential problems to watch for as the young horse matures.

Topics included in this episode are basics on vaccination and deworming, nutritional needs, orthopedic and conformational issues, and developmental growth concerns.  Dr. Ruggles, who is board certified in surgery, is joined by Merck Animal Health Technical Services Veterinarian, Wendy Vaala, VMD, Dipl.
