Educational Hospital Tours Offered During the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event
Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital will host special tours April 21-23, 2010 for visitors during the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event. Tour guests will walk through the state-of-the-art facility and view surgery, diagnostic imaging systems and the podiatry center, and learn about advances in equine veterinary medicine and patient care. In response to the growing trend of online banking, Rood & Riddle has added a new Client Center to our website. The Client Center provides quick access to account balances and a convenient online payment option. Clients logged into their account will see their last statement date, amount billed, and their current balance. The current balance is updated every 24-48 hours to reflect new invoices and payments for clients with ongoing transactions. New Changes for OEPS 2010
The 2010 renewal of the Opportunities in Equine Practice Seminar, September 3-5, will add a new veterinary college to its registration list of eligible schools with SCAAEP chapters.  The University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s (UCVM), first DVM class will begin their third year of veterinary school in fall 2010, making them eligible for OEPS attendance. 2010 Equine Upper Airway Symposium Registration Open
The 2010 Upper Airway Symposium is scheduled for February 11-14, 2010, at the Embassy Suites in Lexington, Kentucky. The 3 ½ day symposium offers an intense schedule of lectures and labs designed to present in depth, current information regarding pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis for upper airway (UA) conditions in the horse. The target participants for the meeting are veterinarians in resident training programs and young clinicians who have not had the desired exposure to UA conditions in the horse.
