We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Personal Podiatry Assistant to support a high-volume podiatrist in our veterinary practice. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word). Basic knowledge of Google Calendar and familiarity with equine and medical terminology are essential for success in this position. The Personal Podiatry Assistant will be responsible for various tasks, including organizing research projects, customer service, field assistance, inventory management and assisting with social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be adaptable and capable of multitasking while maintaining a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Duties

The Personal Podiatry Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting research projects and copywriting
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Facilitating effective communication within and outside the department
• Assisting in the field when required
• Managing various social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok and Instagram
• Overseeing inventory management
• Demonstrating adaptability to new projects as needed

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Demonstrated capability to multitask effectively
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Calendar
• Strong customer focus and dedication to providing exceptional service
• Strong organizational skills to manage diverse responsibilities
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Experience

• Previous experience with equine care for at least one year is highly preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday, Flexible
• Some overtime may be required
• Some weekend shifts may be required
