PART-TIME SEASONAL HELP

- Safely and expertly handle horses while loading/unloading to/from the trailer.

EQUINE RECOVERY ASSISTANT
This is a full-time position with competitive benefits. This position requires candidates to have a minimum of two years of horse handling experience other than their own horses. Previous experience with thoroughbreds is required. The hours are daytime, generally Monday through Friday with seasonal overtime requirements. The hours will have a set start time but require a flexible end time. This position is physically taxing, and candidates must be able to consistently lift 75-125 lbs. Knowledge of English and Spanish is required.

EQUINE AMBULATORY ASSISTANT
Immediate opening for two assistants. These are daytime, mostly full-time, with competitive benefits. There is a set start time for the day but the end time varies based on the veterinarian’s schedule and time of year. Hours are mostly Monday through Friday with a few weekends a year required or Friday through Sunday. Assistants will primarily be assigned to one veterinarian and will travel to farms throughout Central Kentucky and assist with various procedures. Previous horse handling experience is required.
